pffftt it won't. LS will get something like this before the IS ever will.

This specific Cadillac CUE system is implemented on their XTS FULLSIZE SEDAN (successor of the DTS)

Doubt the IS will see any technology like that? Hell you cant get the touch screen to work,Imagine if it had this.

question should be when would the LS get technology like that, after that it would trickle down the line

as far as technology goes nothing is impossible.. thats easily do-able if lexus wants to pursue the technology

Yeah I know, I mean....the LFA has a way better version of this....but, when will the rest of the Lexus cars get it? I am beginning to get annoyed by the needle gauge clusters....hehe.

Even BMW has nice system! I love their new idrive, but something like this i dunno lexus was always behind with their intertaiment/navi/audio systems, but ocfourse always better than mercedesbenz nav systems

Unfortunately I think Lexus is caught up with a completely different approach with the joystick.

Call me a old 22 year fart but I say it's too much. Unfortunately IMO, there will come a point where a car like this will fall in the hands of one who is incapable of fully gauging/controlling the experience putting lives in danger. Not saying a car should be stripped of all ammeneties but they also aren't cross country RV's.

That is pretty impressive I must say, it's only a matter of time before this trickles down to every car (think Mercedes s-class tech that has trickled down to even Hyundai's).
