Touch-up paint mess up! Help!
Hi everyone!
I was doing some touch up paint on little marks on my Glacier Frost Mica Lexus IS. (Hard color to paint! -_-) Anyway so I was doing fine, then I noticed there was a little faded paint on the front near the grill area. So I did some painting but now it looks worse than before ! It looks spotty and uneven. I would much rather have just had the faded area because it wasn't that noticeable in the first place, but I figured since I was already painting might as well... and this is what happened
What can I do to remove the touch up paint without fading the area even more or damaging the original paint? I searched and read a bunch of other people's opinions which included lacquer thinner, that one brand Langka, and some people said that you can use polishing compound or rubbing compound.
I'm really sad and I'm thinking of just taking it to the body shop or detailer where they can just remove it professionally or at least even it out. How much should that cost? And should I just do that instead of trying to fix it myself again?
Thanks ! Hope to hear from people soon!

I tried polishing compound but it didnt really come off. Unless I wasn't putting enough pressure. What would the claybar do to get rid of it? I heard of that one too but I'm not sure how it would work
Hard to judge without seeing pictures. You can use rubbing compound, lacquer thinner or very fine sandpaper to remove. It's depend how big the painted area and how long did you leave the touched up area to cure.
Beware that those three elements are three MOST aggresive abrasive medium on your paint.
If you don't know what you are doing, please leave it to the pro.
