Howdy fellow CL members! I'm new here, wanted to sound off. I've been exploring these forums for absolutely countless hours over the past 5 months and decided it was finally time I stopped freeloading and wanted to become a brand new awesome member to CL....

I'm a student/Navy guy living in Austin, just moved from Ohio, and from CA originally...

Have an IS250, 2009 (white/ecru/automatic sadly/48k), just purchased it used back in OCT, all stock... save for a little LED swapping in my puddle lights, (can't believe we own cars that have "puddle lights" - had to capitalise on that..) but that'll change soon... !

You all are awesome. I love my car, it's become an obsession, so thanks for feeding my crazy newfound obsession over my IS for the past several months! So excited to be part of the community!

I agree with you though, Clublexus will only feed your obsession for your Lexus.
You'll be broke in no time thanks to modding ideas you see/find on CL

Definitely wish I had gone with the upgraded audio... and possibly navigation system... unfortunately USB connectivity wasn't made standard in the IS until the 2010 model (if my memory serves me correctly..)

So, so far, upcoming mods.. (in no particular order)

-Lower the car... maybe. I'm almost hesitant to do this, I know everyone says it's like priority #1, for some reason I like having my car more off the ground away from bumps, pavement, etc.... probably will change my mind though
-Complete the LED setup in the car..
-Bought a HID kit, considering install soon... just unsure about how I feel about losing that sexy sharp cutoff that stock gives...
-Lighted door sills from Sewell... probably in white..
-Seriously considering the door lock upgrade (with LED?) from Sewell too... nervous about taking my door apart..
-Rear sway bar... eventually both of them...
-Not sure why, but the shifter bothers me... the perforated leather shift **** is better, and the F sport one is nice... but for some reason I don't like the idea of putting an f-sport shift **** on a non f-sport IS...

It's a good thing I live four hours from Sewell and not four minutes... I feel sorry for the CL members that live in Dallas/FW...
