Same with mines, I bought my IS350 back in February. Complained at lexus about the Whine. Sounds like Planetary gears, But it wasnt because it would whine in Neutral. They changed two pulleys and the Serpentine belt. Still the Same. Checked like 3 of my other friends IS250 and 350s. They all Whine the Same. Guess thats how these motors are made... Maybe Alternator? My warranty doesnt cover that, So Im not gonna change it unless its out good. lol... My 2 cents.
