Default F-Sport Grille Insert

Good afternoon everyone!

My apologies in advance for asking what seems to be a stupid question. Just new at this forum. I am looking at purchasing an F-sport grille insert (for my 2011 2nd-Gen IS) and was wondering if i need to buy a new lexus emblem for it too?

Thank you for you constructive inputs.

If I remember reading correctly, all you get is the grill.

You need to transfer your "L" front emblem from your stock grill to the F-sport grill.

If i buy a new emblem, will they install it with glue or double-sided tape too?

Yes, Blur they will. Glue. Also, if you are spending the money for the Upper Grille, get the lower! Jeff Lange (CL Member) recommended it and was such a good idea. It's 1/3 the price of the upper and matches.

I bought a new emblem for a clean and quick install.

It's quite cheap.

It's risk free from breaking or marring the old emblem while trying to remove it from the old grill.

It's a cleaner, neater installation on the new grill. No messy 3M double sided tape.

It's quicker.

Do it.

I've never seen a lower for the 06-10.

I've bought 5 or so OEM emblems over the years, and they all came with preinstalled double-sided tape, not glue. Not that it really matters.

Nope. You might be able to do a custom one-off, but it would be a good deal of work. Easiest way to getting matching upper and lower grilles is to do LX Mode upper and lower.
