Does what brand of gas affect how your plugs wear?

96,000 km is the correct change interval for plugs (60k miles)

Lexstacy, the oem spark plugs are pre-gapped. No need to do anything, just pop them in and torque it to the correct specs.

I use shell v-power and shell v-power only. I only occasionally use mobil or hess as a last resort around here when i'm low on gas and shell is no where nearby. But I haven't noticed it affecting anything but I like my local shell station

I changed my spark plugs at about 59,800 miles or so and I noticed the car was a bit more responsive and idled a bit smoother but it was a very minor difference and in honesty is probably placebo.

i changed mine at 83k (yes i am way over) but they looked the same. i was told by many people i could have even gone to 100k and still had not problem. Anyway, i ended up using Denso plugs and have noticed a tremendous difference in power and the way the car rides. Taking that intake manifold off was a mother trucker but i did it and it only took me two hours. i think now that i know how to do it and what to expect- 1 hour tops. LOL

WOW i recently changed mine at 68k and they don't look anywhere close to yours. i actually thought i didn't have to replace them yet but it is suggested to do so. i didn't throw them away yet and if anybody wants to see, i could snap a pic i wonder what's causing different wear on same mileage cars
