Yeah it's DMV approved. Texas allows quite a bit of customization of your plates. They can be pretty expensive too depending on what you get. I want HeyArms on my plates but don't wanna pay for it

Exactly. Cops are people just like us, except their day job entails them enforcing the law. While I know certain cops are really going to find this in "bad taste", I know quite a few will have a nice laugh about it.

Another point of the plate is to kind of poke fun of the stereotypical cops vs. modders. I love cops that do their job and do it without trying to DEGRADE or BELITTLE me. There are cops who have berated me to the point of tears, when I was nothing but "yes sir, no sir, of course sir." Those will be the ones that have a field day with this plate.

But, they have a field day with me anyways - I drive a red sport luxury car that wakes up the neighbors when I turn it on.

I have to follow the law to a closer degree than your average black corolla.

ACTUALLY -- all three cops (on the way to and from California) asked me what the bear was all about. What am I going to say to a cop "OH ITS A PEDO BEAR!" Yeah, that just screams the right message to the cop. I just nonchalantly said "I don't know... I gave my friends some markers and they had a field day drawing on my tape." The cop in Arizona even asked if it was Winnie the Pooh.. Awesome

Haha, pretty awesome story, but I can't believe you got pulled over for "speeding" when you were only 5 MPH over.

The cops down here are tempermental. I've gone past a cop with his radar gun on (radar detector said so) @ 80 and they didn't pull me over. Gone past cops 5 over the speed limit and got a ticket for 15 over the limit. Rolls the dice and place your bets! gotta pay to play =D
