So apparently when I was reinstalling my mirror glass yesterday while installing my new led mirror covers, I busted the fluid (or something) inside my passenger mirror that does the auto tinting. Now the mirror has this look like oil in water sort of whenever the auto tinting is turned on...so I need to replace it. I see that sewell has it for $270 with our discount, or 80 for the non tinting one...but i dont want to have a mismatched set. My question is this, what is the best way to reattach the mirror glass without busting it, because i had to press the hell out of that thing to get it to pop back into its clips..and that is what busted it i am sure.

Did you ever figure this out, because I just broke a brand new mirror trying to instal it. I pressed it to try to snap it in and it broke. Need help ..

Eek. I swapped my puddle light bulbs this morning and was freaking out over how hard I had to snap them in. Thank god I didn't do this.

I did the exact same thing on my passenger side glass! Mine is only in the bottom right corner so I try not to notice it.
