I can't be the only one...
Anyone else here gotten so used to their IS opening and starting without a physical key that you find yourself doing the same with other cars sometimes?
The other day I caught myself trying to unlock my moms Odyssey by just walking up and putting my hand in the handle :p I started getting annoyed that it wouldn't open till I realized what I was doing LOL.... and then when I got in I reached for the push start :egads: I felt so dumb I started laughing at myself a bit. ....Oh how new technology has spoiled us :D |
yeah, that tends to happen when you've owned a car with a key fob :D
Tell me about! Driving my gf car was a pain when I didn't realize it wasn't like my IS. I was like wtf is going on and my gf started laughing....I tend to forget my car isn't a manual anymore either and try pushing the invisible clutch in....
Haha, happens to me every time i try to start our crv... Go to push the start button and then realize I need to find a key
the clutch is what gets to me EVERY time LOL
my daily is a 5speed integra |
The push start gets me! I Have a manual IS.
nope work at an automall. use to every type of key entry/start and transmission :D
The smart key entry function has even effected my fiance sometimes. I usually take us out in my car, and once in a while when we take her car, she'll forget to give me her key and ask why I won't unlock the car door for us, so she'll unlock it and we get in. Then, when we get inside, she'll expect me to push the start button to start the car, so we sit for a few seconds and I stare at her until she gives me her key.
The parking brake is what gets me. When I have to drive another vehicle where the parking brake is in a different location, I end up stomping on the floor with my left foot at the parking brake location of the IS.
