Road trip Advice?
Hey guys, i'm about to go on my first long road trip. My IS250 has about 60K on it.
Is there anything I should do, or take care of before or during my road trip?
I know it's a noob question, but i'm really cautious about my car! Thanks Guys!

if you had maintained your car regularly, you should be pretty much good but do check all fluids under the hood, brakes, and tires. i also always like to keep a microfiber towel in the car just incase
Did you get your spark plugs changed at 60k miles?
Check the spare tire pressure (60 psi). Know how to replace a flat tire. Make sure you have the wheel lock key if applicable.
Get fresh wiper inserts and top up the wiper fluid.

i dont think i would think twice but yea just incase when was the last time you did your oil, if its been 5-6 months or 5k do it, are your lugs are torqued to spec? also check the air on your tires...download some movies and your good to go
First off, how far away is your road trip going to be?
Obviously oil, washer fluid, radiator, tire pressure.
Check your tires for tread wear.
If you got a navigation, hack it, so you can watch DVD's along the way!

Thanks guys, everything in my car seems to be in check! And the DVD hack isn't for me, i just get too distracted easily so I know if i hack it, i'll probably use it lol.
No I haven't done that yet, I have the plugs but have been to lazy to install them, i'll install it after i come back, also got to do the brake fluid flush. (Not looking forward to that)

I was cleaning out my trunk the other day and came across the first aid kit velcro'ed to the liner. Didn't even know it was there. It's got tweezers, scissors, bandages etc... neat.

My advise is the following
Rent a car. It's only $26 a day depending where you live.
When I had just got my 06, I used to rent cars whenever I traveled from Los Angeles, CA to San Francisco, Las Vegas or Laughland. I just wanted to feel worry free of debris damaging my front end. Which happens a lot on those roads. Plus you get road side assistance 24/7.
You can't go wrong with that.
If you want to take your car just follow all precautions listed in the other posts. Just be careful with the rangers/highway patrol.
Good luck
p.s.
Don't forget your sunglasses
