How did you find out it won't fit the vert? I ordered mine Sunday and when I saw your post I called Auto Anything. They told me they didn't know if it would fit. So which one did you order?

Just got my shade today and it fit my vert just fine, I will take a pic as soon as I can and post for all to see.

Does it fold any smaller? Or does it only fold to the length on the windshield like 3 feet or whatever?

Doesn't the bottom edge scratch the dash at all over time?

Correct. When folded, its less bulky and smaller than other generic "metallic" looking sunshades

I havent had any issues. The bottom edge doesnt really look sharp or anything to damage the dash

JGR7, just seen your post. When I called up to order a pop 'help' line opened up. Chatting on that the guy told me vert's needed a different size. He gave me the part number and that's what I ordered.

I placed my order than after I saw your post I called them and this is what there cust serv specialist emailed me.
I spoke to Covercraft regarding the sunshade fitting a Convertible 2012 Lexus IS 350 and they have only tested this on the Sedan and it they can not confirm this on the convertibel at this time. This might fit but they can not guarantee this at this time. The windshield is the same but the attachements might be different.
I asked if I could return it if it didn't fit and never heard back from them.
It fits fine so I will keep it.

I have that one. It's made to fit the IS but it doesn't say Lexus like the pic op posted. I can't find it as well.
