Default Oil Qty question?

I know that the IS stated capacity is 6.7 qts total.

When doing a long change interval, without changing the oil filter how much would you say remains in the filter and housing area?

Why are you not changing the filter?

Using the standard filter anyway it should be changed more often than the oil itself when doing especially long OCIs. (ie you could run Amsoil for 20k miles no problem but should be changing the filter by 10k if doing so)

Only case I could think of you'd do the opposite is if you're running the synthetic media TRD filter, but then running conventional oil with 7500 or 10k changes....but I've not seen anyone do any definitive testing on how long the TRD filter is good for, and would think you'd still be better off running synthetic and changing both on a long OCI.
