Default Car wont' start.. any ideas?

hey guys, new to the IS forums here.
So my 07 IS250 won't start (and yes I searched a ton, so please don't flame me)

Keyfob is working fine. I can unlock and lock the doors. When i get in and try to start, the start button goes green, the gauges work and light up.
The brake pedal is very tough to depress. With enough pressure though, it'll try to kick over. It tries for a few seconds, then stops.

I took the battery out and trickle charged it for a few hours... put it back in, same thing.
The starter is definitely trying to start... it's not a click click click... it's definitely trying to turn the flywheel.

Any thoughts because i'm confused at this point.

Thanks
Jim

Is there some security fuel pump shutoff? my "security" red LED is going off when i start the car and I've never noticed that before.... If that's the case, how do you disable it?

Check your negative cable attached to the body. Clean it. Also load test your battery to see if its putting out enough amperage.

i had the same problem when i bought my 08 IS250..it ran great for a few weeks from the dealer, but i noticed that it would do the same thing you just descibed on and off randomly. Change your battery I guarantee that your battery is weak.

did you try to jump start it? if it starts with a jump, it probably is your battery.
