my aux input is not working. HELP!
i have a 2006 is350 i usually play my music threw a aux cable but the other day it just stopped working i checked the cable and its not that. I push the cd/aux button and it is like the aux is not registering. has this happened to anyone or know how to fix this?

I know you said you checked the cable, but did you try another one? If your existing one fits loose in the jack, or isn't inserted correctly, it won't press the feeler that enables the "aux" mode to be selected from the radio.

This may not be the case but it's worth checking anyway, in the fuse box under the passenger side dash check fuse #6. It's 10 amps and the only thing the manual labels it as is "audio".
There are a few other fuses for audio but all of the other ones are sharing the circuit with things like air conditioning and the clock so I doubt it is any of those.
