For 2011 IS350s... LED headlights and drl come standard... Lol. But it should have been a 2008 to 2010 model. , should've checked the calipers. =p

Since it had the AWD IS350 badge, it would have had to have been a 2011 to be an AWD IS350, which means it would have to have the HID/LED headlights.
It was probably an IS250.

If you have genuine F-sport parts and you have an "F-sport" badge I think that that is perfectly fine as it is not a misrepresentment.
However if you replace your "IS250" or "IS350" badge with an "ISF" badge then that is just wrong!
(Btw, just for the record I do not have any f-sport badging despite having a couple f-sport parts)

I don't understand why he'd even try to fake it. When I was looking to buy an IS, I noticed the 250 and 350 wasn't that much different in price...350's were much more rare however. He could have been patient and just bought the 350 instead of faking it.
I chose the 250 because I wanted the AWD and this is my daily driver. I don't plan to mod it since there isn't much you can do to make it any faster. I have my fast car in the garage and I have my daily driver (IS250).
But then again I've seen and ISx50 with an ISF badge and I have seen many non-F-sport cars with F-sport badges. It can happen in any space.

The thing about F-Sport stuff is that they are accessories that are meant to be added to any car, they are not really special, so if someone builds a nice car with F-Sport parts, etc. and puts an F-Sport badge on it, that's fine with me, even changing bumpers, other cosmetic stuff that's no problem for me.
Putting different badges onto a car without the stuff to back it up: No.
Do a 2GR-FSE engine swap into your IS250? You're allowed to put an IS350 badge on it.

^^^ I agree with jeff. I even think putting an "F" badge on isn't that bad as long as you have F-sport parts to back it up and leave the 250/350 on. But putting a 350 badge on a 250 is just a sin... I'm a PROUD 250 owner so you won't see me debadge mine and you'll NEVER see me swap it for a 350... SMH!
