I was wondering if that website was legit.. its dicounttire.com... i was guna order falken rt 7m for my lexus and was wondering if i should order them from the discount tire website instead of the falken wheels website to save two hundred bucks...

Yup, discount tire direct is legit. They have very competitive pricing.

100% legit

They are very legit. I have bought a bunch of tires from them in addition to Tirebuyer.com

Discount Tire is the only place I buy my tires from. Either online or at one of the stores.

Better yet, see if you can find the tires here:
http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse....ount_Tires.cfm

Then print out the page and TAKE it to a Discount Tire location. They will price match it without any issues (at least i've never had any) and you'll save even more $$ :)

Very established and been around for a long time.

I always use Discount tire. But before I buy, I print out the price from Tirerack on the tire I am looking at and ask him to match it. They have always come through in that regard. They still make money since they tack of additional stuff to install.

The only problem with that is the store will charge sales tax. That will cost me additional ~$80 for $800 worth of tires. That is why I usually just purchase the tires from Discount Tire direct and bring to a local shop to install.

If you've taken a peak at the screen while they price match and have seen "their cost" you'll know they make a good amount even if you price match and just walk out with just the tires. :p

Seriously, I was surprised at how cheap they get some of those tires for!

I would def recommend. I've purchased 3 sets of tires through them. No tax, free shipping, and awesome customer service. Tires come very very quickly too through their regional distribution warehouses. They have a great supply chain/logistics system in place.

You can negotiate. Some people just ask to price match. It never hurts to just ask what is the best price you can give me, beyond what's listed on your site. Like Best Buy, I believe DDT makes their profit on the back end, meaning through tire hazard warranties, TPMS kits etc. Their tires are pretty close to "at cost." Over time, the sheer volume of their sales will give them a positive profit. You can try to negotiate the warranties or other items as well. Walmart uses this business model as well.

I've bought from them before and haven't had any problems. Also bought from Tirerack.

There is def some room to work out a small deal. Last person I dealt with there was named Wyatt.

I've used both discount tire and wheel warehouse and you can't go wrong with either IMO. I've also found a better deal online and have taken it into discount tire and had them honor the lower price.

Do to discount tire and tell them to price match discount tire direct...i use both all the time, its easier to get discount tire to price math them instead of having it shipped to your home and bringing the wheels there, plus you can get certificates from discount tire...

100% legit but check out Costco for their warranty/free lifetime rotation.
