I remember doing this on the F-150 board. I know a lot of folks have silly little "pet peeves" with their Lexus and are really "****" when it comes to certain things. What are some of yours?
Here are some of mine:
1. All AC/Heater vents have to be "even".
2. When parked, my steering wheel has to be straight.
3. My ashtray and cup holder HAVE to be closed when not in use.
4. I don't like ANYTHING in my side door pockets.
5. No change is allowed in the "change holder"...lol
6. I will avoid at ALL COSTS driving my car in the rain...I know it's stupid, but that's just me...lol
7. I am "OK" with my car being being dirty if I caused it, but hate when my wife or daughter drive it and it comes back dirty.
8. I can stand a "little dirt", but cringe at the sight of fingerprints.
9. I NEVER turn my AC/Heater on at full blast no matter how cold or hot it is...I have have been like this with all my cars no matter how old/new the are...
10. My audio adjustments have to be at a certain level AT ALL TIMES...the bass is three levels from the max and the treble is two levels from the max...lol
11. The arm rest in the back can NEVER be left down.
12. For some reason I can't stand ANYTHING in my glove box, not even insurance/registration. I keep that in the pocket behind the passenger back seat....that might not even be legal when I think about it...lol

I am pretty sure I have more but can't think of any right now....

No one drives my car but ME

1. DONT slam my doors
2. People must kick off dirt and snow from their shoes before entering the vehicle.
3. Nobody touches my center console but me (music, heat etc...)
4. Car must always be clean inside/out
5. No food or drink in the car

1) Only I drive the car.
2) Fingerprints on the car drive me crazy.
3) Bird ***** drives me crazier.
4) Center armrest in the backseat can't be down if its not in use.
5) Ashtray and cupholder doors closed when not in use.
6) Steering wheel straight when parked.
7) Only I touch the nav screen and center console buttons (though I let people touch the ipod).
8) Random stuff left in the car. Clothes, trash, whatever. Always drives me crazy.

I think the title of your thread should have read "Who has OCD?" I really don't find all of these to be pet peeves but rather a sign of obsesssive compulsive disorder. I'm just saying....

When i was 22 years old and bought my 2005 Evo 8 brand new I was not this bad, such as a straight steering wheel and a even vents but I hated fingerprints or dirt on the car or even rock chips. Now that i'm alittle more mature I realized that it's just a car, an object. I've love to keep my car clean but i don't get obsessive over it anymore. Although i do had bird crap and dirty windows. Ahhhh!

I have the same #1 and 2 as OP.

I hate dirty windows, mirrors, and carpets.

Always wiping off fingerprints on the door pillars.

Like to keep the trunk empty (except for the spare) unless I must carry things.

I absolutely hate leaves getting into the engine bay. I used to open the hood once in awhile with my previous cars just to take them out.

My girl thinks im bad. ima direct her to this thread ASAP.

As the years have passed i have stopped caring about cars. i barely wash it LOL

Here are mine:
1. inside has to be clean. no paper, chlothes, nothing other than my sun visor thing i purchased to protect the dashboard and inside of the car.

2. no eating. except me LOL its my car i do what i want.

3. Very few people get to touch the radio.

Haha I won't even eat in the car. And the only thing ill drink in it is water.

1. I don't eat in my car. The most is drinking soda/coffee/water. Heck, I try to avoid drive-thru's at all costs.
2. No one messes with my radio.
3. Never full blast the A/C and/or the heater, regardless of the weather outside.
4. Center console is always closed.
5. I press on the lock button on the key fob AT LEAST twice, regardless of where I'm at, to lock the car.
6. I wear slacks because they aren't as rough on the seat as jeans.

I'm sure there are more, and will add to the list once they come across my mind.

I keep mine clean, wax it about every 3 months, use Lexus leather cleaner and conditioner every 3-6 months...thats about it. Hell I smoke in the thing.

My wife is a petrol head, maybe even more than me.
OCD? Yepp.

Clutter in the car freaks HER out.
Fingerprints freak ME out.
When it comes to car maintenance, I will feel bad if I am 100km above the service interval (let's say 55,100).
AC/vents cannot be on full blast
The driver controls the CONTROLS.
Slamming doors, why oh why do people treat cars like that?
My car is my castle.
Microfiber cloth is the best invention ever, always have them handy in the car.

I think some people slam the doors because they are used to slamming the doors on other cars the require a more forceful close

i always leave it down unless there is an extra passenger who need to sit there. i want my passengers to feel comfortable once they get in the car.
