This morning when walking to my car before work I happened to notice a dent on the roof of my car by the sunroof. Don't know how this happened but it sucks. Car is only 7 months old to.
Hoping dent pro or someone can fix this at a good price. This def ruined my day.
I just posted on your thread to. haha. This is horrible. I have no scratches or anything. Noticed my roof looked exactly like yours out of no where. Went to the dealership and they said it's not covered under warranty. It's a joke.
Do you have any aftermarket suspension? Have you had any previous accidents? 350 or 250? Garaged? What was the temp outside there in Cali today?
I have the F-Sport Suspension. It's a 350. And the temperature was cold in the morning but it was warm today 65 degrees. It doesn't make sense how this would happen though.
Ok, so we can probably rule out the thought of an outside party having anything to do with the damage...which is a load off. But WTF! I mean, I've heard of metal bending/denting due to extreme temp changes before...but 50-60 degrees and mine being garaged over night? Doesn't make much sense to me.
Well, lowering the car 2.5" like I have I'm sure creates additional stress to some extent...but seeing I've been lowered for a few weeks just doesn't seem like this is a reasonable assumption.
That's crazy that you guys had the same thing and posted it. Make sure you stay in contact with each other in case one finds a solution..are you planing to report this to Lexus?
Someone in my thread just posted saying that those exact areas are known to be weak, and with our lowered suspension might help with that. Mine definitely looks worse though. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
