wow, sounds very time consuming as you stated, good to see you spent a lot of effort into perfecting it.

^^yes, it was to the point where my wife thought I was crazy. She didn't understand why the DiNoc wasn't good enough... that is until she saw the finished product. Now even she admits the fake CF looks like junk compared to the real deal.

That's exactly why I love doing things on my own. I learn a lot from the process, and I also learn how to use many different tools and equipment.

Mad props to you though. Laying carbon fiber is something I've always wanted to try. I've looked into it multiple times, and every time, it just doesn't seem like it's worth the time and effort.

And also...more pictures!! I want to see how great your project turned out!

Took the plunge and did this a couple of weeks ago. 1.. Definitely time consuming.... be prepared - at least minimum of 4 days... 2. Have patience. 3. End product you will be pleased...

I would say this was the most involved DIY I have done but in the end extremely happy. Followed all the directions and cannot say more. Most of your time will be prep and sanding. All the pics I have for now but Ill post what I have done in the future. Thanks for the DIY
