Lexus IS Can I use the CD changer to play movies?

Yes you can with ML,
I went further and made a DVD containing video clips for music that I downloaded from Youtube !. Had to use several programs and convert the video size, resolution, and format to be able to finally burn them in a DVD disk with a menu just like a movie DVD ! . FYI I was able to load 30 songs per Disk.
The only downside from using Youtube video clips is that the audio will be Stereo and not as crisp as compared to another DVD running high bit rate mp3 files only.

Actually you could swapped the Mark Levinson unit to enable watching video. However, the CD playback is completely plug and play.
There are 2 thing you need to do for it fully functional.
1. You need to relocated 4 wires for the AUX
2. You would need custom wire for video signal
You don't need to have Mark Levinson Amp and 14 speakers for it to work. Your stock AMP working fine!!!!
HOPE IT HELP!!! I did swap 4 of them into None ML car so i know!!!

So many people saying it cannot be done!
Can you please explain about:
1. Where to relocate 4 wires for AUX?
2. Custom wire for video feed from DVD head unit to video feed on back of GPS monitor?
Thank you so very much for your time and knowledge!

Part # for the connectors are 90980-12221 or 90980-12251 (it’s white in color and goes in the bottom middle socket behind the radio) and the other is 90980-12209 (it’s blue in color and plugs into the blue colored socket on the Nav unit.)
On connector 12221, red wire/pin goes in slot 1, green in slot 2, and black goes in slot 3. On connector 12209, red wire/pin goes in slot 1, green goes in slot 4, and black in slot 5. The connector will have the slots at each corner marked with a number.
