Default Light output on projectors

Drove to a wall and parked from a distance to check out the light output and the passenger side lights up the wall all white but the left side is still dull/dark(color of the wall). Tried leveling the projectors up and down to see if I can see any difference and its still the same.

I see it move up and down but it's more of like the shadow of it and not the direct light, These are new bulbs. Any ideas?

Are the bulbs mounted in the projectors correctly? A bulb not installed correctly can have adverse effects on your output.

Yeah i tripled check everything and it's properly mounted in place. I had halogens before and it was the same thing, first i thought it was just the weak bulb then I installed the new HID and it's the same, also tried other bulbs before the HID as well and all the results are the same, the driver side projector just isn't putting out the light 100% =/

IF you retro-ed new projectors like I am doing currently am then you need to make sure the lens you used on the projector are clean, also make sure the bulb has no finger prints as well, lastly clean the inside and the outside of the headlight lens plastic itself.

Yes they're oem headlight/projectors. I checked the bulb again, no finger prints and clean. Tried new bulbs also and got same results. No idea what's going on.

Pictures of your output would help greatly.

Is that cutoff step from your passenger projector? If so, I cant even make out where the driver side cutoff step is. With that being said, if you already swapped bulbs from passenger to driver with the same results, then its either your ballast that's bad, or your projector got damaged.

Yes, the cut off step is from passenger, the driver cutoff is VERY dim that my phone cant pick it up and in real life, its like 15% visible.I tried using brand new halogen bulbs also and it does the same, even with stock halogens one side is brighter than the other.

Is there a way to fix the projector?

When I was using standard halogen it had the same effect though. This is bugging like crazy, dealer wanted 150 to inspect the headlight hahahaha, thats nuts!!
