Are you asking about the ISF silver carbon fiber or the FX auto black CF?

You can buy new ISF silver carbon trim here:

http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2007/2009.html

$3200 with CL discount. Or you can buy used and save a bunch of moolah

I was wondering has any one with the CF wrap tried to shoot a coat of clear coat over the wrap. I ask because I build model cars (currently building a 1:12 McLaren mp4-6) and I used tons of CF on that model that I then clear coated over. The finished product looked similar to what the FX auto overlays look like.

This thread titled "Real Carbon Fiber Interior Options" might be of interest to you guys: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...r-options.html

EDIT: I might merge the threads, they're pretty similar...

Glad I read through this thread before it was merged - you guys are merge trigger happy and a majority of the time it makes the thread completely confusing and useless - especially when it gets to 50+ pages.

Alright, I won't merge them then haha. Just trying to keep things on the forums tidy, but it's always a gray area.

Hahaha, so true... I stay away from these merge threads.

Back to topic. How long does it usually take for the core exchange?

The CARID kit comes with a lot of pieces, many people just dont use them cause they think its too much carbon fiber. I bought the 32 piece set, but thought it was too much. I only use a few of the extra pieces.

Im uploading my pics now
