Sewell Replacement Front Bumper
Does anyone have experience with purchasing a replacement bumper from Sewell?
Someone recently hit our front bumper in a parking lot and left us with the damage--fortunately, there is zero structural damage, just scraped paint.
Sewell seems to have a pretty reasonable price for new painted replacement bumpers. I am assuming that they paint the bumpers in-house? Does anyone know if the paint will be of equal quality to what came on the car new? I'm pretty picky and want to be sure that the car is restored to "as new" condition. If it matters, the color is Obsidian and the car has pretty low miles for a 2008 (17,500), so the paint hasn't had much time in the sun to fade, etc.

They are in-house painted.
If you're looking for factory painted, that would be a bit of a challenge unless you are willing to pay the price because it is available only from Lexus Japan. As per JP specs, it will have factory drilled holes for the front license plate bracket and unable to special request for a bumper that is not drilled.
As you may know, in-house paint is not the same as factory since it's painted by hand as compared to the factory which is painted by robot. There will be paint variances in the formula and thickness as well. The thickness can be detected using a paint gauge.
