My 07 IS350 doesn't have any rattles, at least not that I can hear. My windows were tinted this past summer. And they didn't take off the door panels. A good tint shop doesn't have to.

I've had the same problem coming from my front dash. I gave it in to the dealer for 2 days to fix it and I didn't hear it for 4-5 days after getting it. But it somehow started squeaking slightly again but I'm sure within a few more days the squeaking noises will increase. So will have to take it to my dealer again.:-(

Can you elaborate on what TSIB you're referring to? Because the above posters do not seem to be having either of the very common dash rattle or windshield ticking TSIBs. This seems to be coming only from the passenger side and possibly the door area. Also for the dash rattle and windshield ticking noises, those most often occur only when in motion, whereas these posters are talking about it occurring only when stopped.

then you probably have the common issues, you can take it to the dealership under warranty and it will be covered. I heard that they add extra padding I believe but I wouldnt know as my car has never done it.

Now MY problem is becoming irritating.

I am glad I read this I have 2011 w 7k miles, this is driving me NUTS. Sounds like it is coming from the bottom right side of the passenger seat or lower passenger door. I think it is the seat though.

I have a 2011 IS350 F-Sport with less than 2000 miles and I have the usual dash rattle a lot of people talk about. I haven't noticed the one coming from the right side though but I'll try and listen for it next time.

It sounds like a rattling in the door / dash on the right hand side when going over bumpy roads.

My sun roof also rattles if I have it in the tilted position but i've heard that this is a common issue.

Haven't been able to figure out wheres its comming from, going to have the dealer look into it when I go for my next service but that we still be a few 1000 miles.
I got the exact same problems! someone please post links to TSIB

i've had a rattle noise when i drive over bumps, dips, uneven roads. it sounded like it was coming from the rear and it turns out that it was my exhaust bouncing on one of the black bars underneath the car. all i did was added some washers to give it more space and the rattle noise is gone

Mine does the same thing; only happens when car is in motion - gets really annoying. It doesn't happen all the time, I would say only 4 out of 10 times when I drive. I'm afraid when I take it to dealership and if we go out for a test drive and it doesn't happen, they would say there's no rattle and refuse to give me a fix ..

And sorry for the newbie question, what is TSIB?

After owning my IS for 3 years and reading dozens of posts I have come to the conclusion almost every IS will rattle, clank, whine, creak and make noises at some time in their life. Unfortunately Lexus is not making cars as well as they did 10 years ago. In trying to keep up with competition their build quality has droppped. I wish they would revert to what made them successful. Recently I drove a friends 2001 LS 400 with 99k. There wasn't a noise out of the car.

I agree with you on certain things like inferior quality compared to LS models but Lexus are still way better than the Germans in reliability and overall fit and finish. I actually feel blessed when i compare my car with my friends , Bimmer's and Caddy's , they've got much worse issue's than our just rattling issue's which can be fixed by adding some foam.
