Default My New IS350, My old IS250

So I guess its time to share my little story...

This past October, as Norcal CL just finished another successful meet, The Pursuit, held by the very hospitable Socal CL family, we all packed up, blue taped our cars and prepared for the long trek home. Some of us decided to grab a quick bite to eat, and along the way, my poor car was hit, t-boned by a driver coming out of a side street! It was quite obvious it was the other driver at fault. His front end was shattered and in pieces, but my lexus held her end, took the impact, saved my life, and from a simple outer inspection, it really didn't look that bad. After all the insurance investigation and collision break-down, the car was considered a total-loss. The impact rippled from one side onto the other, the roof buckled and the suspension was completely damaged.

As heart broken as I was, with all the hours and effort that has gone into my car, it was time to say good-bye. This story has a happy beginning! Through this blessing in disguise, I was able to get a brand new IS350, a very nice upgrade, and in color I always wanted. So...here comes the photos! (Thanks for all of those who helped me along the way, especially the ones who stayed at the accident scene, gave us a ride home, everyone who showed me ample amount of support, and last but not least, James N!)

Before:

1st Day I picked her up from socal:

All of these photos below were taken by fellow CL members, thanks guys! --If anyone has more of my car, please do share. I never had a chance to snap many pictures of her

AFTER:

New Toy (it was a foggy night, so I took the opportunity to do a quick fog photoshoot). She is completely stock, but if anyone have coils laying around, please let me know!

My insurance covered $1000 of it, and the rest is going into the subgrogration case which we are still fighting. Hopefully they will give me the cost of my wheel and suspension.

Really sorry to hear about your car... those pic's are painful to look at, can't believe how mangled that wheel was and how rippled the body was! Good to that you came out of it ok and the IS stood strong

Congrats on your upgrade! That is awesome! Hope all goes well with your case.

SFP is the best color... but i have a biased opinion since I also have 2011 in SFP
