Rain + Windows down = Damp
So I did something stupid and left the rear windows open last night. I don't know how much it rained, or dried, but the floor mats were damp and there was rain on the seats, and hanging off the doors. It didn't seem like much got in. And it didn't seem to rain that much by the time I got up. I got a towel and dried it off best I could. As I was leaving for lunch, I see all the windows are covered in condensation and it smelled slightly of mildew. I drove with the windows down and it smelled fine afterwards. And after work there wasn't much of a smell. Pretty bonehead move. Luckily I just bought a Groupon for a detail.
What's the leather like? I ask because I remember a member posting something similar but one side of his rear seat had suffer some really bad stain. Many did not think it was just water but he is certain it was. Don't know if stain went away but he had something serious to worry about.
Yes, dry/clean before any damage accurs in the long run.

I left my sunroof open overnight last month. My windows were condensed every time i got into the car for a good two weeks. Its better now, but i feel like all my windows fog up so much now... So mad at myself /:
Damp-rid! You'll be surprised what it "sucks" up. Just did a 2 month stint of Damp-rid in the floor board of my Civic that just sits in the garage. The crystals were all damp and there was a little mositure in the bucket. Man, I was surprised!
You sure it wasn't just absorbing humidity from the air?
