Insurance is coming to check it out tomorrow, anyone wanna take a guess on cost?

im surprise didnt do more damage to it racoons pretty big mothers lol hope everything works out , i would give you cost of damage but im not expert on body job but some one will good luck!

yea 2k is a pretty good estimate.

500 for bumper + 500 for paint + 300 for foglight housing + 100 fender + labor.

If they just write you a check, thats a huge bonus because you can just buy a lot of the stuff on sewell for much cheaper. The bright side is that its not any real significant damage and now you can upgrade your bumper/get a lip .

I hit a raccoon in my previous car. It destroyed a piece of my bumper as well as my foglight. Odd, as it looks like just about the exact same thing happened to your car.

I never got a chance to repair it, as I totaled my car shortly after that. I was looking for parts to repair it myself, and it would have cost me about 600 for a painted new bumper and 100 for the foglight. Of course, if you're having a shop do it, there's labor involved. 2k would be a fairly good estimate.

How was the raccoon after the hit? LOL THe bumper with paint alone is going to be around 900$ plus the other minor stuff and labor, would probably be around 1400$-1500$

Hopefully the fender liner doesn't smell like road kill after. I remember when I ran over a possum two years ago. Left a really bad smell for a couple of days .

if the insurance going to pay for it get the most you can but if it was in ny my friend would have fixed that bumper and painted with the fog light housing for 500-600 bucks.

Stupid raccoons! My friend has a 350z and bought a lip kit. I installed it for him then about 15 minutes after he left i get a pic message from him... His lip was broke in half, and blood was everywhere! He hit a raccoon about 5 minutes after leaving my house haha.
