Thoughts on TSW's?
Hello, fellow CL members. I was just wondering what are your opinions on TSW rims?
|
They have a wide variety of styles, but I believe they are weak. If you have the money, I would go with something like Wedsports, SSR, Advan, Works, etc. If not, the more affordable and durable rims are Forgestar, Enkei, and wheeldude, etc. I would look for a semi-forged/forged rim or a strong cast. :)

Totally Super Weak :p. i hear they break alot. Go with something that has a good brand name and affordable. Like ForgeStar F14s, Or Work XD9s. Its worth the extra savings :)

if that's all you can afford go for it.. also look at axis that's in. your budget.
I'd say save save save |
Heard the "hear-say" about them being "weak"...so I searched the net trying to find pictures of broken TSW wheels. What came up was a bunch of bent/broken Rota wheels. LOL! Nothing having to do with TSWs though.
I personally own a set of lightweight TSW 15s on my Civic, and I've hit potholes that could easily bend wheels...but they held up great. Trakstar 4s on the Civic : http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/5849/img65991s.jpg I would definitely get a larger set on my Lexus if I fell in love with a design. I fact, I really love the way the Cadwells would look on my SGM 2IS. |
