Default Headlight aiming low?

New car, less than a couple of weeks old and I noticed the headlights seem to be aimed a little low and the left light is lower than the right.

From what I've read the car "knows" based on the weight on what position to aim the lights? Is there anyway for me to raise them up a little or do I need to take it to the dealer? I think I noticed the left is aimed lower than the right because I can see where the upper limit of the light hits the road.

The left side is supposed to be lower than the right side to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. You can raise up the lights yourself with a screwdriver. There's a guide somewhere on this forum. I'm not sure if the dealer will adjust the lights, but it cant hurt to try to ask them before doing it yourself.

The stock position of the lights is fine the way they are since they would not shine into oncomming vehicles.

If you want to measure to be the rule of thumb, then look at the height of wear the dot is on the headlight housing. About 25 feet away, the beam should be 2 inches lower than the dot.
