Just bought an aux cable for my iphone to connect to my is350 and I noticed I'm having some issues with the sound quality... I'm certain it's the aux port and not the cable or iphone because when I give it a slight nudge(cable head while plugged in the port) the sound quality improves greatly! All of sudden the sound becomes much more rich, loud, clean and it seems as if I'm getting better stereo imaging. But as soon as I let go or stop from nudging the cable head the sound becomes slightly dull and opposite from what I experienced.

Is there a way to fix or replace the aux port?

I thought the aux port ground loop was an issue with people charging their devices while playing music? For my problem I just have my iphone connected through aux and i'm not charging.

If you have to nudge the cable to get it to work properly, its the cable. Replace it and it will probably fix the problem your having.

Hmm interesting.. I can't plug anything onto my AUX port that it is not charging for me to get it to work...
