Spoiler Question Please don't hate me for asking =0(

Ok Going to recieve my spoiler in the mail tomorrow.

should I

A.) Drill holes in my Trunk to install?

B.) Use the 3mm Tape to hold it in place and cut the male end screws off?

What spoiler ?

Sffd103 Oct 5, 2011 09:56 PM

Ask how much a body shop will charge you. I assume its an OEM spoiler. People have cut the screws but I'm not a fan of double sided tape jobs.

If it's stock spoiler, tape it with 3M so you can take it out later if you change your mind.

Sounds like your talking about the OEM spoiler...is so, dremel off the bolts and tape it down :)

WIZARD1325 Oct 5, 2011 10:01 PM

Well I can do It myself I just hate to drill on beautiful paintjobs =0)

Good point but i've never heard of a taped on OEM spoiler being stolen lol unlike roof spoilers.

WIZARD1325 Oct 5, 2011 10:25 PM

Yea I doubt someone would steal a $164 spoiler.. Now those big wings that you see on hondas that go for $400 and up I can see

Sffd103 Oct 6, 2011 08:23 AM

I got the OEM spoiler from Sewel for my sisters Obsidian IS and I took the bolts and double side taped it on. It worked great and it's holding up just fine.
