so last week, i went to the dealer to get my cluster fix, which it took like a week. =) they dealer let me drove 2 sexy cars, a CAMARO and a MUSTANG
both v6, now im debating which car should i get a camaro 1lt, or a mustang GT.

I say get the new 5.0 California Special. It is sexy....I almost got one, but then opted for four doors.

 

yeah the GT is 5.0, and man it looks good, but the Camaro look unique and everyone was starring at it. haha

The Camaro is a real POS. Test drove both and the quality of the Mustang far surpassed that of the Camaro. I vote Mustang. Add a poll to this thread for a better gauge.

 

agreed, those camaros are hideous.... i also read somewhere that these newer mustangs have very impressive handling if that matters to you.

 

i drove both of them, and it was amazing, camaro has a nicer ride, but the mustang is much easier to drive

Neither. I don't support any American made products produced by the UAW (or that use chinese manufactured transmissions [ford]).

 

If your really inclined to buy the domestic car then go with the Ford Mustang 5.0, i've heard they're better than the bowtie and are quite happy with modifications done to them.

I know your looking at V6 but if I was to get domestic, I'm going V8

im in the same boat thinking of trading in my 250 for a mustang 5.0...sick of my wife burning me at the light with a sentra

 

5.0 is the new m3 beater!

 

i'd still choose a m3 over 5.0, lol.

 

New mustang has a chinese made transmission that is proving prone to failure.

 

get a real car, get some classic american muscle and you will be happy. modern day mustangs and camaro's are way to common and mainstream. or go with an 06 gto and you will not be disappointed.
