What is the car warranty coverage differences between CPO and Platinum used? Both are sold by Lexus Financial.

platinum extended warranty

Recently I just brought 2013 ES350 L/Certified car from Lexus dealer with 40K on it, dealer trying to sell Platinum Extended Warranty for 5 years/ Unlimited Mileage asking $3500. Should I get it?

I don't think they have unlimited mileage...usually they offer up to 100K miles

Please check Lexus website, currently they offer 5 years unlimited mileage for $3500

guess they changed - CPO used to have 3 years up to 100K warranty

Mine was 5 years / 100k. Whatever comes up first. I took it and i had my airbag replaced. Worth it! Cost like $2500 to fix

2012 is250 awd here with 71k Miles. I guess I'm out of warranty because all I have is the powertrain. Lexus checked and they found nothing I purchased the car from a toyota dealership so I need to look into extended warranty. Is it too late for me ? I see people here saying you have to get it before factory expires or the date of purchase. Any info would be appreciated.
