Default Door lights

Ok, Today's update was the door lamps I did all 4 doors man the rear door does require some fabrication on your part indeed lol. But Got them installed

The way they work as of now....

They are wired to the door slits......so they only come on when the doom light is on =0( not the way i wanted them but was pressed for time.

Sorry about the bad pictures I am still learning how to take night photos with this D300S Nikon camera err so many buttons on this dam thing maybe i should just use a tripod lol..

All 4 doors have the new LS Door Locks on them

Did you follow the DIY for the cup lights? What should have ypu wired the LEDs into then? I'm planning to do this.

Ok, today IS a new day time for some mods here is a play by play On what I have done.
see pics below...

We will start with the Carbon fiber from V-Carbon I installed

Lets start by removing the side panels from the cruise control on the right side and on the left side
(note) disconnect your battery in the rest of this forum i will be installing the Steering damper which requires you to mess with the Air bag) These side panels pop off extremely easy I used a T-27 but T30 is the size of that screw
http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290490/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290490/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195777849/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195777849/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

The Air bag should now pop off its connected by 3 wires to pop off the orange and black to pop these off you will need to use a small flat head or for you pimps out there your pinky nail lol. Just pry them up and the wire should disconnect pull them up...do not twist and any direction they come out by pulling straight up

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196288674/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196288674/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196288898/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196288898/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

Next you will have the ground wire (Black) dont just pull this on theres a metal snapper thingie on it press to release

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195777133/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195777133/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

Next remove the 2 screws next the the controls (silver in color) disconnect the wires in the back. These also zip tied so you need to cut them off (yes lexus adds a challenge to this mode as well
http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290046/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290046/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

Wa-LA there off do what you gotta do in my case V-Carbon them hehe.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290682/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290682/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

There's 3 screws that hold them in star like shape
step one

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195778553/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195778553/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

step 2

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195778831/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195778831/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

and 3

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195779087/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195779087/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

Finish product...just put everything back in reverse order.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196291868/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196291868/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195779869/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6195779869/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

Steering damper take a look at this picture again.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196289126/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196289126/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

notice of those wires pop straight up
http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290046/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60908091@N05/6196290046/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/60908091@N05/, on Flickr

slide the damper in and use the 2 screws provided.
*Note....you have to take off the air bag wiring completely in order to funnel the wires through the new opening through the damper.

Last mod I did theres no Pictures but listen up

Don't you hate the seat belt buzzing sound that goes for a few seconds when your driving...well I disengaged it. How? you say well its super duper easy follow these steps
Make sure your seat belt is unbuckled
1. Double tap you start button (foot off pedal
2. Make sure your display read your ODO number and not trip
3. Shut off car once you done so,
4. Double tap once again and hold the button in for 15-30 seconds
5, While holding that in Buckle your seat belt
6. you should now see on your screen "SB ON" hit the button again to toggle it to off
7. Once its set on off shut off your car or unbuckle your safety belt.

NOTE* If you change your battery or disconnect your battery after this mod it will reset to factory and you have to do it all over again lol.

Thanks again for viewing my post stay tuned for next update*

Have a Nice day!

First impression driving with the damper on the steering feels heavy (maybe its in my head)
No vibrations which I like =0) I guess you cant go wrong for 27 bucks. it looks like it needed to be in there anyway just an open space once I took off the Airbag lol.

If this makes sense if give you a heavy sense of feeling like your now driving a tank and not a Prius lol
