I gained 313 hp, dropped to 2 mpg, undercar aerodynamic improved as well as unsprung weight, made handling much worse as I can't turn now, can just go straight.

I can see it as a joke. Please take it easy and don't turn this into a flame war or a joke.

Anyways, can someone sum up the benefits of this mod?

no more wheel hopping, the car feels smoother going through corners at a quicker speed (already taken it up 9 and 35 a bunch of times and fully utilized the lsd without having the rear end kick out lmao), oh and you'll spin easier with trac control off on wet ground

Thanks. So it makes it more fun to drive with some more oversteering. Sound fun...

How much is the part and labor are we talking about here?

This guy provides a great explanation what a differential is and how several types of differentials work:

Neither. It comes with an open* differential. There are no options from the factory.

*Lexus calls it a semi-LSD, due to its preload mechanism, however this is only functional at slow speeds.

You're looking at around 8+ hours of labor for the LSD swap. Hourly rates will vary depending on what shop you take your car to.

Yeah I skid a lot more in the mountains after I got my differential installed, but it was mostly because I was running on basically bald tires haha. it depends on where/who you get your differential from and like what redspencer said, depends on which shop you bring it to.
