Default Just blacked out headlight housing, Need opinions on fogs

Hey guys, so yesterday i got my headlight housing blacked out. Its a low gloss black, looks like satin black. The dude that did it for me never did fog lights, so i told him its cool if he just does the headlights. Now that they are installed, they look good but i feel like its incomplete since the fogs are not matching. Its not a huge deal but im pretty **** about these things. I dont feel like going back and taking off my bumper and all again. So i think im gonna get a foglight overlay from aerotect.

Heres what the headlights look like. Sorry for the crappy iphone pics

Its slightly less noticeable in these pics.

So my choices are 2 different shades of blue, yellow, or 3 different tints. or of course leave them alone.

http://aerotectfilms.com/Lamp-Overlay-Film.html

^all of them can be seen here besides the darker blue.

right now im thinking yellow or a medium/light tint. I use to hate the look of the yellow foglights. I dont even understand why people like them, but its been growing on me...If someone can inform me iyo why yellow looks good please do. Im usually all about matching fogs. Btw one of my foglights arent working right now and im too lazy to replace it. So consider that these fogs will be viewed without light passing through lol.

Thanks

I def think that yellow is the way to go. People like yellow because in winter when it is snowing the yellow doesn't shine back in your face like a higher color temp light. It does make a big difference especially in rain and snow. Also it does look awesome! Hope this helps Good luck.

Head lights look good, I'd match the fogs the same way and just get an HID kit for the fogs and call it a day.

If you dont plan on using your fogs, I'd black them out and call it a day.
I personally dont like the yellow fogs (tint or bulbs)
I seem to be the only one on here that doesn't like the yellow.
If you are going to replace the bulbs at some point and use them, I'd tear them down and paint them to match your headlights, and get bulbs to match too.
get an inexpensive HID kit. looks great and very functional.

O its for functionality? One of my foglights is out for some reason. So the film im gonna be getting is for asthetic purposes lol. No light will be shining through them unless i wanna get it fixed, which i dont wanna do atm /:

Yea thats what i want too but not in the mood to go with the hassle. Just gonna get an overlay. Btw i do have an HID kit. One bulb recently stopped working for some reason.

Also does anyone have any pics of any of these overlays? with lights off preferably?

If your gonna use the lights, Id leave them alone. If not, then put some smoke tint on them to match.

Here is my yellow overlays, looks pretty badass with my 3000k HID's. i like them a lot and yellow cuts through rain and fog better than any other color which is why some people have yellow headlights in Europe.

IMO it looks fine the way it is. I have mine the same, blacked out housing, and I left my fogs the way they came. I really don't get bothered by the fact they don't match...in fact, it never even crossed my mind til you brought it up.

for HIDs? or just standard yellow halogen bulbs? If the latter:

Any ~3000K HID kit with the proper bulb type should also work. I'd aim for a reputable brand though, to save you the headache.

Yea it is fine, but its not perfect imo /: I can live with it but it'll always bother me...Im thinking about a very light tint overlay. Just stuck between aerotect "tint" and "steel" if anyone has one of those two on the headlights or foglights, pics would be great!

thanks for all the compliments. I think im gonna scratch yellow out though. It takes away from the little classiness i have left lol.
