Where to get cabin filter
 

Hi,

I got a 08 IS350 and need to get my cabin filter changed and I want to do it myself. Where can I get the proper filter and does anyone have instruction on how to change it?

Be sure to register with Sewell as a CL member and it'll drop the price on any of your purchases through them considerably. Oh, and be sure to put climate on Recirculate before swapping out the cabin filter. I know it says it in the link but it can't be said enough.

It's very easy to swap it out.

What the difference between the Carbon Impregnated Cabin Air Filter (Deodorant Filter) and the normal filter?

The normal filter just eliminate particulate matter (dust and pollen for example). The carbon filter helps eliminate odors as well.

I am guessing our cars come with the carbon filter from the factory?

^ Actually i believe its just the regular cabin filter.
