06 IS250AWD Won't Start the First Time
 

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with IS250 starting the first time. I'll get into the car, push the start button, the steering wheel will begin to move towards its position and the instrument panel lights up, the car tries to start, then everything seems to cut out and the car shuts it self down.

It sometimes takes 3 tries to get the car started, occasionally the starter will "get stuck" and just tries and start the car without success.

Any ideas on what it could be?

Yea I agree new batt.

Bump, tried the battery replacement. Didn't work. Anyone have any other ideas as to what it could be? The occurrence of this happening has gone down recently, maybe the cold affects the car somehow?

Could it be the spark plugs if they haven't been changed for a long time?

Hmm if its not the battery, id say check:

Spark Plugs and starter. Maybe even check for any Carbon Build Up? There's a TSB for it if your under warranty.

Starter motor? Alternator?
