Afternoon Everyone,

I'm a proud new owner of an IS250 and the first thing that I went out and purchased is an aftermarket backup sensor system. I purchased the same one for my old X5 (So glad to move to a Lexus from that POS) and it was pretty easy to install. Just drill the holes and wire up the harness to the reverse light.


I am looking in the trunk for the reverse light wire, and I have been unable to find it. Under the main center part of the trunk, near the spare tire, there is a small bundle of wires wrapped in a cover. To the left of that, under the recessed plastic cover, there is a larger bundle of wires and another smaller one (which I suspect are the same small wires from near the spare tire). I need to tap into the hot reverse light wire so the backup sensors will activate when I put the car into reverse. Does anyone know which bundle of wires contains the reverse light wire, and if so, what color it is?


Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I took mine from the reverse light. Haven't had any issues with my camera.
