Grille removal on a 09?
 

I followed the instruction, I managed to step 7 but I cannot figure out what step 8 means? I can't find any pin to lift up.... please help :cry:

the pin is actually the retention claw, which is shaped triangular. So basically on each side of the grille, you have a metal stud on top and bottom and two triangular shape claws in the middle. One of the claws is black and the other is silver colored. You'll need to disengage the top and bottom metal stud and the black triangular shape claw in order to get the silver colored claw out. You'll have to use a bit of force.

If you came to step 7 already than just try to pull the grille up and to yourself, manipulate it a bit and that's it))

in the end I just need more force to pull it out after step 7 :)

As a reference for others who may have the same problem in the future,
I basically yank forward towards me (knee down position) one side at the time,
some force is required to pull out so do not expect it to simply slide out.
