Default changing out air filter

Does anu know how to remove and put on a aid filter in our cars.. Couldnt find anything my ac start to smell and i want to change it out.. And do you know where to get a replacement filter at... I have a 08IS250 if t makes a difference

I think you mean the cabin filter?

It's in the glovebox... directions are in the owners manual... just be sure you have the climate control in recirculate, or you'll snap the flap off and it's like a $1000 repair to fix.

Long as its in the right mode it takes like 2 minutes and no tools to change.

Anyway, Sewell sells the filters... be sure to register with your forum name when you create an account and you'll see discounted pricing when logged in with it...

yes, i meant cabin filter sorry thanx for correcting me.. but by recirulating is that the button where the picture of the air is only flowing in the car, or the one that gets the air from the outside coming in...

Recirculate is the button where the air is flowing in the car. (Isn't that obvious by the term "recirculate" )

The cabin air filter will only help the smell marginally. you need to get an AC refresh kits to emilinate the smell.

yeah its obvious! just want to be sure and not sorry after some1 posted 1000 fix if messed up... just got my car in mint condition i'm not tryna mess it up already and i dont know anything about a lexus... put me in a honda/acura and i can run circles all day.

is there fully detailed instructions on how to do this because the ones on the bottles seem confusing...
