Default Rear height sensor bracket broken and seized/frozen

So I have three following issue on my 2012 lexus is250.
My headlights go up and down at start but doesn't center it just stays pointing down and often move specially when I stop at Red lights I see it bouncing up and down from time to time. So I stopped by lexus service and the tech found the bracket with a crack on it and the level is stuck seized. He even let me wiggle it to see that it's very hard to move up and down. He says he's 99% sure that it is the issue because front height sensor is working fine and the back is seized so the headlight is trying to adjust itself but not getting any feedback from back height sensor. I wish I would've taken a pic of it but my phone was dead at the time. He said the sensor is good the problem is the bracket but this bracket is sold together with the sensor so I was estimated at $697.00 plus tax. I told a friend about and he got me the part # which we believe it's the right piece and guess what. The bracket is only $4.77 and with my online discount $3.87. Now this is a crime if the sensor can just be swapped into the new bracket this is a sweet candy job. I'm just wondering if anyone knows a solution about this maybe I'm wrong and the tech is right about the bracket being sold only with sensor. But I found the bracket and thus is the part # 4872830040. Can anyone help this just took place yesterday so I'm trying to do my own research as well.

If it is just a $4 part, why don't you buy it? If it doesn't look like the correct part, then throw it away. If it looks ok, then just install it and see if it fixes the problem.
Or you could just pull the plug on the rear sensor. AFS light will go on, but the headlights shouldn't be "bouncing up and down" at red lights. They will auto level when they first come on, then should stay steady after that.

Unfortunately the part you need only comes with the sensor. The bracket (48728-30040) you found is not what you need. It goes between the part you need and the control arm.

THANK YOU JEFF THE LEXUS GOD lol. Now what a waste of sensor just for a bracket and the seized screws. Can I get any any money for the sensor since it's still good or its a loss case?

I SHOULD'VE CAME BACK TO MY "TEMPORARY" SOLUTION TO THIS. SO ABOUT 5 MONTHS AGO I LOOKED AT THE BRACKET AND SENSOR THEN I CAME UP WITH AN IDEA SO I SPRAYED SOME WD40 ON THE SCREWS WHERE THE LEVEL IS SUPOSED TO MOVE. SOMEHOW PROBLEM SOLVED AND 5 MONTHS LATER IT HAS BEEN WORKING LIKE NOTHING EVER WENT WRONG BEFORE. BRACKET IS STILL CRACKED I ACTUALLY HAVE A PICTURE I TOOK THAT DAY. I'LL POST IT NOW. BUT SINCE THEN A FEW WEEKS AGO I LIFTED THE CAR AND SAWE THAT THE CRACK IS GETTING WIDER. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT SINCE IT'S ATTACHED TO THE CONTROL ARM IT WILL CRACK BY LOWERING THE CAR. I'M JUST SURPRISED IT HASN'T HAPPENED TO OTHER PEOPLE SINCE WE ARE ALL LOWERED ON THIS WEBSITE. OR MAYBE MY ISSUE IS THE CREWS BEING SEIZED BUT LIKE I SAID WD40 FIXED THE PROBLEM. I TOLD THE GUY AT LEXUS AND HE SAID WOW REALLY? I LOOKED AT HIM LIKE THANKS FOR NOTHING. SO BASICALLY I'M STILL USING IT SORRY BRO.
