Default Buying an IS... HELP ME!!

Make a long story short... I'm looking at two IS 250's. One is located 3 miles from my house and the other is located in Dallas (I'm located in Arkansas a 5 hour drive to Dallas). Both are under KBB and I feel are good deals, but I don't want to leave money on the table.

Dallas IS-- 2007 Blue CPO 41K asking $22999 no nav (on lot @50 days)

So since all my rides fell through, my best bet, and least expensive option is to fly Southwest there ($140 with taxes). I spoke with the dealer today at Dallas and they wont budge on price as they have reduced it 3g's however, they might be able to cut me a deal on a clear bra

************************************************

Local IS-- 2007 Silver 58k asking $20975 (on lot over 100 days)

They might be able to work with me as they gave me what I wanted for my trade, but would not move on the price. This IS does come with a 3 year/100k warranty. Test drove this and was sooooo smooth, but would this "high" of mileage effect you buying this car?

My question is which one would you purchase and how would you get them to budge on price.

Thanks guys!!

Question come down to what color/interior you like along with options. But if you fly to dallas make sure you want it cause then it be a waste of time and money.

I would get the local one and call it a day. If you fly out there and they kno you flew out there then that gives em more the reason to not budge on the price. Jus go into the dealer and keep telling then NO till they don't go down anymore. It is what it is dude.

I'd go with the local one. silver looks cleaner with dirt on it. I bought mine with 59,500 10 months ago. These are great cars and as long as you do the minimal maintenance, you'll be fine. Like the guy above said, if you fly out there they GOTCHA!

Walking out is a great way to get what you want. Im not going to make any promises this will work, but you will usually get a call within a few hours or the next day saying they'll take your offer (if its reasonable). I've seen my parents do it numerous times, and it always seems to work. Used cars are a little harder to judge because who knows what the dealer paid for it. They have to make some sort of profit.

I'm also in the process of buying a cpo. I only got them to knock $300 off. It seems harder to negociate the cpo's. I'm going to start looking at the non cpo's and see if i can't get a better deal and just buy the extended warranty.

Thanks guys, I really apperiate the feedback. If my buyer still buys it Friday I will then head down to my local and start negoations. If they can't come down in price I want a clear bra installed and windows tinted.

So after talking to the salesman... No heated/cooled seats, no OEM Hid's. Sounds like a base model to me, and for 20975... No thanks. I would rather fly to Dallas and pay $23K then pay that price.

Any ideas of a good base price?

mine was a bit of a headache but I would shoot for 19k if I were you with anything around 50k onit
