Default Headlamp Washer Cover

Anyone know how the headlamp washer cover is secured. Somehow mine came off or was ripped off......is it some sort of spring or clasp that holds it down. I looked at the diagrams and cant figure it out....thanks in advance.

That sucks! See if any local junkyards might have them.

Lexus sells the actuator and the painted plastic cap. Any other pieces between them are not sold separately.

Has anyone tried adding this to an ISx50 that doesn't have it from the factory?

Is it hard to add?

i've tried going around all the local junkyards and everyone told me that they don't have it. and of course, out of the 3 lexus dealerships i've called to ask about that clip, they all tell me i could just buy the actuator assembly (about $350) so i'm not sure how to get ahold of one of these clips. trying to find this part has frustrated me to the point of jacking the clip off another car but i won't do that because i know how hard it is to find. have you had any luck in finding this clip?

seriously...its kind of nice but the novelty of having the headlamp washers wears off immediately when you lose one of the covers and can't find the clip. i'd just keep that cleaner look of the bumper without headlamp washers.

It's nice to have in the winter, since a lot of gas stations downtown don't have the brushes to wash windows / lights. I'll look into it this summer, since it's too cold to work on the car.

In the winter, I would love headlight washers for my IS. It's much more than a novelty, I miss it from previous cars I've had that were so equipped.

Sorry to revive this thread but I am in the exact same situation. A cover fell off my 08 IS 350. I went to the dealership and paid $40+ for a new cover but I am missing the black clippy thing to attach it to the actuator. Dealer tried to sell me the whole actuator for $400+. Uh no.

Where did you find the black clip piece?

Lexus does not sell it separately, you have to get the whole actuator. Not sure if anyone has found something else that would work.
