Default Is this covered under warranty? [cracked F-sport front spoiler]

I recently noticed that my stock fsport front spoiler on the driver side was sort of loose. After a more thorough investigation, I found a small crack in the kit facing towards the bottom of the car. I'm guessing since we had a rough winter here in NYC, a combination of sub freezing temperature and parking on top of snow banks must have caused it.
It's not a major concern for me since it's not visible unless you go under the car but I was just curious if the dealer would warranty something like this...
BTW I only had my car (2011 350 fsport) for 5 months now..
Any info will be greatly appreciated..

I'd say probably not. It was likely caused by hitting something and not a defect in the product. Can't hurt to ask, but I'd bet against it.

I doubt it. Who's to say you didn't bang it on a curb?

Prices on most parts will be cheaper in the US, even cheaper if you buy from an online dealer (like Sewell) who gives discounts.

I'd think buying one of these from Sewell will probably run you about $110-120 plus shipping. You'll likely want to email/contact them as I don't think they have the OEM body replacement parts listed for the 2011's yet. They do list the set for both sides though, which is about $220 like was mentioned in another post.

Sounds like he only needs one anyways, so yeah shipping should be pretty cheap.
