Default GFX sides different enough?

Okay so I'm ordering my GFX kit from Sewell today.. I'm wondering if it is worth getting the side skirts or not. I don't know if they are enough different to make it worth the extra cash.

I really like them. I think the flare adds that little extra to the IS's body. Of course this is a completely subjective question that some will say yay and some nay. Others will suggest other bodykit side skirts. In the end it's your choice. There are plenty of pictures on here to help you make up your mind!

I didn't really think they made a difference, but one member posted up a comparison thread and you can tell the difference there. I'm still not convinced its worth the money, but it does look better all around.

It looks the same as OEM. It just sticks out a bit more on the side.

A person who doesn't know about OEM vs GFX will not notice it. It is unlike the Wald where anyone will know that it's aftermarket when they immediately see it.

Unless I see the 2 sides next to each other, I can't even tell them apart!

the truth is, only a 2IS fanboy would be able to spot GFX skirts, even a 'normal' 2IS owner wouldn't be able to see a difference.

Just got my car back from the shop after having no gfx sides for the past year, thinking it was the same as the oem, but boy was I wrong. I wouldn't say huge difference, but you notice a different tone and look to the car. I highly recommend getting it, you won't be disappointed.

At first I felt the same as you. I really couldn't tell a difference. I ended up getting them during the closeout sale for a great price! I think it's worth getting. Once I put them on I could see the difference. It's not a huge difference, but I think it flows well with the rest of the kit.

They're about $200 from sewell shipped. Plus my car is Crystal White so I'd have to get them painted so I just got the fronts and rear. I'll spend the extra cash on something more useful.

99% of the IS owner won't notice them. But if you want the complete kits, go for it.
