Need advice on fog lights: 6000k vs 3000k

wow, three practical and proper responses in a row! I don't drive in fog, but I've been caught in nasty rain storms, and proper fog lights (not white light) can really be a safety precaution. Yellow is the color of choice "because it has the next longest wavelength of visible light (after red)."

heres something to think about, if you have 6k lows and 6k fogs, its best to have all the bulbs purchased at the same time from the same vendor, this way they will match better, if you add 6k fogs after having had 6k low for awhile they will not QUITE match do to the age of the lows, ALSO whenever you turn on the headlights you must turn on the fogs so all four bulbs will age together.
This is why 3k fogs are also a viable option, if the lows/fogs don't match to begin with then you wont have that 'matching' problem AND~ ITS JDM YO!

I rarely use my fogs for anything other than helping me see the roads better during a down pour. I think they really help balance out the 6000k low beams. I would go with 3000k if you're more for safety and 6000k if more for looks.

Thanks for putting these pics up! I thought I wanted the 6000k fogs until I saw how they looked. I like them but the contrast of the headlights and fogs is much nicer with 3000k fogs IMO :0)
