My car does this from time to time. Should I get it fixed now or wait till it gets worse?! I feel like my cars been in the dealership too many times this month already...

Get it fixed before your warranty expires. It's a common problem covered by TSIB.

there is a TSB for that issue you can do a search on here to find it or just take it in and they will fix it.

Yep!! Rattle TSB, get it fixed. I had that in my 250, and it didn't just do that on start up. Usually on shut down, it sort of knocked too.

After replacement, the start up sounded better (as well as no more rattle) and as well as the shut down.

I read it has something to do w/ the vvti and if its a tsb then you may be able to get them to do it even out of warranty I would think...

Read the TSIB. It's more annoying than anything. No serious harm to your engine. Try topping off your oil more.

The TSIB itself has gone through several revisions. Not sure if they ever truly fixed the underlying problem.
