Is the ML stereo noticeably better (sound quality)?
I think so.... When I switch between cars with 6 or so speakers to a 14 speaker surround sound. It sounds REALLY good. Just my own personal preference. (I have the ML stereo)

Are you looking to buy new or used. I was in the market for an Lexus just a few weeks ago.. If you want nav with ML you have to special order it for the 2011 is350 model.. Which sucks, I decided to go with out e ML, couldn't wait 3months for the order.. I will be doing aftermarket instead..
Even on a car with both Mark Levinson and navigation, the DVD player is for movies only. It won't read DVD data discs with MP3 files. On a non-navi ML, I don't think it even has a DVD player.
Correct. When I pointed out to Lexus their marketing stuff claimed the non-nav ML option came with a DVD player and yet my car lacked one they cut me a check for the MSRP of the ML option, which was nice. The only way to actually get the DVD changer is to get both ML and Nav.
