Default Remote start module

Has anyone ever heard of such a module, or company?

I have not heard of this module but Lexus as far as I know offers remote start.....I am going to call my dealership Monday and see what the options and cost in adding this to our factory system. I dont want to have an extra remote especially when the Lexus key fob is pretty bad ****.

That's weird. My local Lexus dealership is offering their remote start for $495.95 parts/installation but, only the RX, GX, and LX are eligible?!

That's correct! They don't offer it for the IS. Oddly enough, however, is that they DO offer it for the HS...

I went with Clifford and have the iPhone app to start my IS.

Do a search on my posts--I don't have many. There is an entire thread on my Clifford remote start+iPhone app.

But you MUST have a very qualified installer--not just an average one....

You are correct sir...the only way we "IS Owners" are getting remote start is trying the module in question or going with Viper or something. They said it would not be available in next years model either.
